一定期間におけるResult of operation（経営成績）を示すものです。
アメリカではIncome statementと呼ばれることが多いようです。

英語で書かれているということ以外には、日本のものとほとんど同じです。

Other expense 営業外費用

Income before income tax 税引前当期利益
Income tax 法人税等

当期純利益

Net income（純売上高）は、Sales return（売上返品）、Sales allowance（売上値引）、Sales discount（売上割引）をSales（売上）から控除した数字を書きます。ちなみに、Salesと表示されている場合でも、それらは控除されています。

Sales discount（売上割引）の扱いは日本とちがいます。

Cost of goods sold（売上原価）　
= Beginning inventory（期首商品）
+ Purchases（仕入）
- Ending inventory（期末商品）

ここでもPurchases（仕入）は、Purchase return（仕入返品）、Purchase allowance（仕入値引）、Purchase discount（仕入割引）を控除したものです。また、運賃などの手数料も含めて計算します。

Purchase discount（仕入割引）の扱いは日本と違います。
